THE AUTHOR REPORTS THE RESULTS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT ON THE STORAGE OF TABLE GRAPES: COLD STORAGE, CA STORAGE AND STORAGE WITH BAGS GENERATING SULPHUR DIOXIDE. THE BEST RESULTS WERE OBTAINED WITH THE LAST TECHNIQUE, EITHER FOR THE OCCURRENCE OF CONTAMINATION BY BOTRYTIS OR FOR ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS. THE CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE GIVING THE BEST RESULTS WAS 10% OXYGEN AND 3% SULPHUR DIOXIDE. A. M.
