Summary

A simplified method is presented in the article for the calculation of end temperatures of water and air in heating fin coils. The heat transfer area is given as larger than it would correspond with the coil rated performance. The overestimate coefficient p is defined in an equation as a relative surplus of heat output. Required inlet and attained outlet temperatures of water and air depending on p-factor are presented in two examples.
