Summary
Survey of aquaculture production according to species and regions, of fish and shellfish. Various sources of feed that can be used in aquaculture (fish waste products, worm feed, meal and algae), for omnivorous, carnivorous or herbivorous species, and the need to produce this feed in a sustainable, environmentally friendly manner, are also discussed. Many specific examples and figures are also provided.
