Summary
Formulations, charts and tables for the thermophysical properties of R134a are compiled in this handbook. The authors measured data for PVT, saturated vapour pressure, sound velocity, surface tension, thermal conductivity and viscosity and they propose an equation of state and correlations for saturated vapour pressure. The thermal performance for refrigerators and automobile air conditioners with R134a as the refrigerant are also studied through both experiment and simulation.
