The objectives of the paper are to update the HCFC's substitution, based on current knowledge of Elf Atochem. A first part deals with the replacement of R22, for which solutions are already proposed to the market: the "look alike" alternatives and the "high capacity" alternatives. A second part deals with a new generation of HCFCs, fluorinated propane and butane, among which solutions can be identified to replace R11 or R114.
