Summary

IN SEVERAL REGULATIONS OF THE DUTCH FOOD AND COMMODITY ACT (WARENWET) AND IN REGULATIONS OF PUBLIC INDUSTRIAL ORGANIZATIONS, DEMANDS ARE MADE FOR THE STORAGE TEMPERATURE OF FOODS AND BEVERAGES. THE DUTCH INSPECTORATE O PROTECTION INSPECTS ALL THOSE INDUSTRIES AND SHOPS WHERE FOOD AND BEVERAGES ARE PRODUCED, STORED, SLATAR PRACTICE HAS SHOWN THAT MOST INFRINGEMENTS ARE FOUND IN RETAIL TRADE, IN THAT THE COLD CHAIN IS INTERRUPTED. DETERIORATION, OR EVEN WORSE, FOOD INFECTION OR FOOD POISONING, MAY BE THE CONCEQUENCE OF THIS INTERRUPTION.
