Summary
THE ISENTHALPIC STATES OF R114 AND R22 WERE DETERMINED BY THE JOULE-THOMSON EFFECT IN THE CRITICAL, LIQUID AND VAPOUR ZONES, TO THE VICINITY OF THE PHASE CHANGE CURVES. THE TEMPERATURE-PRESSURE RELATIONSHIPS WERE STUDIED FOR 20 ISENTHALPS FOR DENSITIES FROM 0.01 TO 2.5 AND PRESSURES BETWEEN 50 KILOPASCALS AND 7.6 MEGAPASCALS. THE ISENTHALPS OBTAINED WERE PRESENTED IN THE FORM OF POLYNOMIALS WHICH GIVE VALUES CONSISTENT WITH THE ACCURACY OF THE MEASUREMENTS. THE COEFFICIENTS OF THE JOULE-THOMSON EFFECT AND THE REAL PARTS OF THE SPECIFIC ENTHALPY, DETERMINED BY MEANS OF THESE POLYNOMIALS, WERE COMPARED WITH THE RESULTS OF OTHER AUTHORS.
