Summary
This second volume of a three-volume second edition (see also this Bulletin, reference 2007-0904), gathers useful information (tables, formulae and diagrams) for air-conditioning practitioners. This second volume contains three sections: D. Air-conditioning engineering: external-condition references, solar data, temperature, indoor humidity and air quality; thermal characteristics of structures: transfer coefficients, thermal resistance, thermal conductivity, loss through the ground and thermal bridges; hydronics: anti-frost protection, piping, pumps and valves; heat transfer and insulation: basic phenomena, calculating exchanges and thermal insulation; hydronic networks). E. heating (systems, loss and emissions). F. Air conditioning (humid air, solar, ventilation and latent air-conditioning loads; air-conditioning systems: general data, smaller units, independent systems, all-air, all-water and air-water air-conditioning).
