THE RESULTS OF TRIALS UNDER EXPORT CONDITIONS TO ROTTERDAM THE NETHERLANDS WITH BEEF LIVERS AND TONGUES, ALSO TRIALS TRANSCONTINENTAL IN THE US, IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE RISES ABOVE FREEZING DURING TRANSPORT. TEMPERATURES 280, 293, 308 K (7, 20, 35 DEG C). INITIAL TEMPERATURES WERE 244, 233 K (-29, -40 DEG C). C.R.F.
