Optimization of heat effect measuring device of magnetic materials in alternating magnetic field.

Author(s) : YE R. C., CHEN C., LONG Y., et al.

Summary

The application of low Curie point magnetic material is an effective way to remove covering ice or snow on transmission lines. In order to evaluate the de-icing ability of magnetic materials, a prototype device is developed, which provides a simple and feasible method for measuring the heat generation power of magnetic materials in alternating magnetic field. The measured results can be used as a reference to choose de-icing magnetic materials.
