Summary

This guide, inserted in the "AIRAH Journal", describes a method of calculating pressure drop for R22 in copper tubes. The charts present the pressure drop for 40 deg C liquid temperature and -10 deg C evaporating temperature. For other conditions, a correction factor is applied to the value read from the chart. For tube sizes that are not shown in the charts, an approximate method of calculating the pressure drop is outlined.
