Production, sales and atmospheric release of fluorocarbons through 1994. Annual report.
Author(s) : AFEAS
Type of monograph: Report
Summary
The purpose of this annual report is to provide the scientific community with data on the atmospheric release of fluorocarbons. Data are available through 1994 for CFCs (R11, R12, R113, R114 and R115), and HCFCs (R22, R142b). Production of all five CFCs has declined substantially since 1993. Production of R141b and R134a is reported for the first time, covering the period 1990 to 1994. As expected, these relatively new CFC replacements showed rapid growth with production in 1994 reaching 81,231 and 50,400 metric tons, respectively.
