According to a survey conducted by EUROMONITOR, in 1996 world consumption of quick-frozen foods reached a level of 17.5 million tonnes, representing a total value of USD 60.9 billion. The market achieved 23% growth in volume and 25% growth in value over the 1992-1996 period.
