Summary

This document presents the results obtained following calculations of projections up until 2022 according to three scenarios. These scenarios are defined by existing or envisaged regulatory measures, and also on the basis of the currently observed technological and environmental trends (e.g. the development of low-GWP refrigerants). The calculations were performed on the basis of a constant lifespan, while awaiting per-sector analysis of the initial life-cycle curves proposed in document 2 and used to calculate the 2007 inventories.
