This guideline supersedes ASHRAE Guideline 6-1996. It lists the types of refrigerant information recommended as the minimum necessary for commercial application or for use in ASHRAE standards. It covers property data for fluids used as refrigerants in HVAC&R applications. These include halocarbon refrigerants, hydrocarbon refrigerants and inorganic compounds (such as ammonia and carbon dioxide).
