Summary
CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) have been banned since January 1, 2001 and are considered as waste. Use and production bans on HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) have been programmed by the European Community. This fluid represents more than 50% of currently used systems. It is time to review the new strategies that should be implemented as of today.
