Author(s) : PEKMEZCI M.
Summary
THE FRUITS WERE STORED AT 281, 283, 285 AND 288 K (8, 10, 12 AND 13 DEG C). FRUIT SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED FOR ANALYSIS (EG WEIGHT LOSS, PEEL THICKNESS, AMOUNTS OF TITRATABLE ACID, SOLUBLE SOLIDS, JUICE CONTENT, VITAMIN C CONTENT). DECAY CAUSED BY FUNGUS OR PHYSIOLOGICAL DISORDERS WERE RECORDED. UNDER THE STUDIED CONDITIONS, THE 283 K TEMPERATURE AND 85 TO 90% RELATIVE HUMIDITY WAS FOUND TO BE THE MOST ADEQUATE STORAGE CONDITION FOR A PERIOD OF 8 TO 9 MONTHS FROM HARVEST.
