Substitution of R502 and R12 by new refrigerants.
[In Dutch. / En néerlandais.]

Type of article: Article
Summary
In the article the reasons are presented for the development of a new line of compressors, suitable to an alternative refrigerant as a replacement for R502. The possibilities as well as the restrictions of R134a as an alternative for R12, and experience with a number of types of synthetic lub-oils are discussed. Up to now the application of R22 has been the best solution. Copeland gives much attention to the possibilities of reducing the high compression temperature of R22 installations for the low temperature range. This has resulted in a new range of compressors.
