Author(s) : PARENT D., LARUE P. A.

Summary

THE AUTHORS HAVE DEVELOPED A STEADY-STATE WATER-TO-AIR HEAT PUMP MODELLING PROGRAM, SIMPAC, FEATURING NON-AZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANT MIXTURE SIMULATION. THE CARNAHAN-STARLING-DESANTIS EQUATION OF STATE IS USED. THIS MODEL HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY VALIDATED FOR PURE R22 AND MIXTURES R13B1-R152A AND R22-R114. IT WAS THEN USED TO PREDICT R22-R23 BEHAVIOUR. THE PAPER PROVIDES AN OVERVIEW OF THE MODEL AND ITS VALIDATION.
