Summary
Experiments were carried out during 1999-2000 on the keeping quality of several pear cultivars treated with various combinations of CO2 (20 and 40%) and an antioxidant Ekhinoplan. Data are tabulated on the quality of pears after storage at 0 °C. Results indicated that treatment with antioxidants + high levels of CO2 improved keeping quality.
