FROZEN FROG LEGS FROM THE RETAIL MARKET WERE INVESTIGATED FOR SALMONELLA AND OTHER ORGANISMS. 70% OF THE SAMPLES WERE POSITIVE FOR SALMONELLA. NO FOOD POISONING ORGANISMS WERE FOUND BUT 88% OF SAMPLES HAD FAECAL STREPTOCOCCI. E. COLI DENSITY WAS GENERALLY LOW. G.R.S.
