Summary
FISH AND SHELLFISH PULPS ARE PREPARED FROM FISH FILLETING WASTES OF LOW COMMERCIAL VALUE AND OF SMALL SHELLFISH BY PASSAGE THROUGH A PERFORATED DRUM. TWO TYPES OF SEPARATORS ARE USED (BAADER 694 AND BEEHIV) AND THE BACTERIOLOGICAL QUALITY, THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND THE TECHNOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF RAW MATERIAL, OF FRESH PULP AND AFTER ONE MONTH FROZEN STORAGE IS ANALYSED.
