Summary
The paper presents a comparison of a single-stage ejector refrigeration cycle, operating with different refrigerants. The thermodynamically suitable refrigerants for the ejector refrigeration cycle and performances of some working fluids, such as R113, R114, R134a, R141b, R143a, R600, R600a, ammonia and water, are presented and compared in detail. Guidelines for working fluid selection are given under various operating conditions.
