Type of article: Article
Summary
A PSEUDO-CUBIC PERTURBED, HARD SPHERE EQUATION OF STATE IS PROPOSED, COMBINING THE EMPIRICAL CUBIC FORM FOR APPARENT VOLUME AND SCOTT'S HARD SPHERE EXPRESSION FOR REPULSION PRESSURE. THIS EQUATION WAS SUCCESSFULLY APPLIED TO THE SATURATED PROPERTIES OF PURE SUBSTANCES INCLUDING CRYOGENIC FLUIDS.
