Application of "natural" refrigerants: new systems for the use of CO2.
Author(s) : LORENTZEN G.
Summary
From the point of view of environmental protection, it is desirable to use "natural" refrigerants, already present in the biosphere, such as carbon dioxide, which is an almost ideal chemical substance when used in a cycle yielding a competitive COP. Examples show how this can be put into practice.
