Summary

The book includes the technical and symposium papers presented at the ASHRAE annual meeting, in Orlando, Florida, USA, June 25-29, 1994. 48 technical papers were presented on: air conditioning, ventilation, solar energy, energy saving, cooling load, humidity, cooling towers, water chillers, heat pumps, alternative refrigerants, fan-coil units, heat transfer, absorbers, lubricants, mixtures, noise, testing, design, etc., and 75 symposium papers were presented on topics such as refrigerants, transportation air conditioning, pollutants, industrial ventilation, heat and mass transfer in heat exchangers, environment, simulation, fire and smoke control, thermal comfort, commercial kitchen ventilation research, air quality, heat balance, regulations, heat transfer, carbon-dioxide concentration.
