Summary

For the manufacturing and the storage of precooked meals for airline passengers, Frankenberg GmbH required a new building for its production, storage and administration needs. The company dealt directly with York Deutschland GmbH for the refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment used in its new facilities: the two companies have jointly developed a refrigeration concept in which CO2 is used as a refrigerant for the quick freezing of the products and their storage whereas R507 is used for chilling in the production process.
