HE MAINLY STRESSES THE HAZARD OF THE COMBUSTION OF PLASTIC INSULANTS SUCH AS POLYURETHANES, THE COMBUSTION GASES OF WHICH CONTAIN HYDROCYANIC ACID, LETHAL TO MAN AT THE DOSE OF 5 CG. HE GIVES THE MEASURES TO BE TAKEN FOR PROTECTING STAFF AND GOODS, THE VALUE OF WHICH IS OFTEN HIGHER THAN THAT OF THE BUILDING. HE RECOMMENDS CO2 INJECTION. A.G.
