This file presents ready-to-consume products, which nowadays cover almost all food domains, including gastronomical products. A list of these products is presented in the order of increasing preparation difficulty. The factors that favour the development of this type of food and development axes are discussed. Nine articles follow, presenting various companies and products, in individual portions, that require only thawing and reheating if eaten hot. "Presentation" and "innovation" factors, as well as variety, are important developmental factors.
