Summary

THE STUDY HAS ENABLED THE FOLLOWING CONCLUSIONS: LARGE KRILL (42 TO 54 MM) STORED BEFORE FREEZING ON THE DECK DURING A MAXIMUM TIME OF 6 HRS CAN BE USED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FROZEN FOODS. HOWEVER, THE COLD STORAGE TIME SHOULD BE LIMITED TO 8 MONTHS. SMALL KRILL (30 TO 40 MM) OF LOWER GRADE HAS A POOR STORAGE LIFE IN THE FROZEN STATE. THIS KRILL SHOULD PREFERABLY BE USED FOR MEAL.
