Summary

THE PURPOSE OF THE PAPER IS TO PRESENT THE SCENARIOS INVOLVED WITH ENERGETIC MEASUREMENTS AS WELL AS THE GLOBAL COP OF A REFRIGERATING INSTALLATION FOR COOLING GLYCOL WATER IN A SLAUGHTERHOUSE. THE OPERATING CONDITIONS AND THE RUNNING TIMES OF 4 SCREW COMPRESSORS WHICH ABSORB A TOTAL POWER OF 1,200 KILOWATTS ARE PRESENTED AND ANALYSED AS A FUNCTION OF A METHOD OF REGULATION ADOPTED. THE AUTHOR HAS ALSO MADE MEASUREMENTS OF THE COOLING EFFICIENCY OF THE GLYCOL WATER, THE SUBCOOLING OF THE REFRIGERANTAND PRESENTS THERMAL EXCHANGES TAKING PLACE IN THE RAPID COOLING CHAIN FOR PORK CARCASSES.
