THE EFFECTS OF AMMONIA GAS ON 6 KINDS OF FROZEN FRUIT AND VEGETABLES AND ICE CREAM AND THE PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF THEIR PACKAGING WERE FOLLOWED. FROZEN FOODS, PACKED IN SEALED POLYTHENE AND PVC PACKAGES, WERE NOT DETERIORATED EVEN AFTER 24 HRS. CORRUGATED CARDBOARD PROVIDES VERY SMALL PROTECTION.
