Summary

This analysis covers a total of 27 countries, and is published in three volumes (Part 1 and Part 2A have been abstracted in Bulletin 95.2, ref. 95-1319). This volume, Part 2B, contains the national position papers of Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Israel, Republic of Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, and Turkey. Each national position paper consists of six chapters: basic factors; energy and environmental policy relevant to heat pumps; heat pump technology status and research, development and demonstration; heat pump markets; possible international activities; discussion and conclusion of the national situation. These volumes can be obtained from the IEA or through the IIR.
