Summary

Cryomicroscopy was used to study the incidence of intracellular ice formation on rye leaf cells, bovine oocytes. Results obtained resemble those obtained by other authors on Drosophila melanogaster embryos. It is attempted to model the phenomenon based on statistics of the obtained results, including osmotic pressure, supercooling sensibility and time. Certain predictions of the model correlate with the experiments.
