Preliminary proceedings of the 5th IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Conference on natural working fluids at Guangzhou.
Date: 2002.09.17 / 2002.09.20
Location: Guangzhou, China
Summary
This joint IIR Sections B and E conference held in Guangzhou, China, is the fifth in a series of international conferences on natural working fluids organized by the IIR. The proceedings include 83 papers consisting of natural working fluids: CO2 theory; experimental work on CO2; other natural working fluids; research on and applications of environmentally-friendly refrigerants. This conference emphasized achievements in terms of the science and technology of stratospheric ozone protection, communicates alternative technology to CFCs, promotes the application of natural and environmentally-friendly working fluids so as to achieve energy savings, and discusses the benefits of refrigeration technology. A CD-ROM of the final proceedings will be on sale at the IIR.
