THE AUTHORS STUDIED THE CHANGE IN DIFFERENT PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PARAMETERS, ETHYLENE EVOLUTION AND RESPIRATORY ACTIVITY DURING ACCELERATED RIPENING AT 293 K (20 DEG C) WITHOUT EXOGENOUS ETHYLENE AFTER 30 TO 37 DAYS STORAGE AT 274 K (1 DEG C) AND 90-95% RH. IN EACH TREATMENT WEIGHT LOSSES, PHYSIOLOGICAL DISORDERS AND FUNGAL DETERIORATIONS WERE DETERMINED AND IDENTIFIED.
