System and refrigerant performance comparisons and their effect on global warming.
Author(s) : LOMMERS C. A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
This paper analyses the effect of chlorinated and chlorine-free refrigerants, such as CFC-502, HCFC-22, HFC-507, HFC-407A, HFC-134a and HFC-290. An existing refrigerating system installation completed in early 1995 in Albany, Western Australia was used to determine actual energy consumption and operating hours for various components in a typical low temperature refrigerating system.
