Summary
The effect of a controlled atmosphere (CA) on the storability of 'Bluecrop' blueberry was studied in the years 2001-2003. Berries were stored under a CA consisting of 8 various concentrations of carbon dioxide and oxygen (12:15, 12:3, 12:6, 12:12 and 18:1,5, 18:3, 18:6, 18:12) for 8 weeks. The storage temperature was 0°C. The results were compared with those obtained for berries in common cold storage for the same period of time.
