This book contains the proceedings (104, of which 3 are in English) of the Annual SFT Congress, held in Poitiers, France, on May 17-19, 1995, on the following themes: conduction; convection; coupled transfers; thermal aspects of phase change; transfers in porous media; exchangers; heat systems; heat and biology; thermal comfort; modelling; metrology. Ten "invited" papers covered certain diseases and medical techniques (heat-regulation disorders, heat therapy, the role of clothing, etc.).
