Thermal design method of a double-tube condenser for ternary refrigerant mixtures of HFC-32/R125/R134a.

Author(s) : KOYAMA S., LEE S. M.

Summary

The heat exchange performance prediction is using a method developed in the paper. The local characteristics of the heat-mass transfer and pressure drop are calculated, and the effect of composition on the total pressure drop, the overall heat transfer coefficient and the average heat transfer coefficient are examined. The heat exchange performance for R407C is also compared with that for R410A, R32, R22, R125 and R134a.
