Transport properties of pure and mixed alternative refrigerants.

Summary

New experimental thermal conductivities and viscosities for several mixed refrigerants as well as for pure R32 in the dense gas region have been measured. The data cover a range of temperatures from -20 to 100 deg C and a range of pressures from 0.1 to 5 megapascals. Equations for calculating the transport properties over a range of conditions have been developed from this data base and are also presented. A corresponding-states method for correlating and predicting dilute and dense gas viscosities is also proposed.
