THE PAPER PRESENTS THE TEST RESULTS OBTAINED WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE HEAT PUMPS USING NEW REFRIGERANTS: R142B AND NON-AZEOTROPIC R12-R114 MIXTURES. FOR R142B THE TEST VALUES AGREE WELL WITH THEORY AND ENABLE ONE TO FAVOURABLY ENVISAGE ENERGY PRODUCTION AT 368 K (95 DEG C). FORNON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURES THE TESTS HAVE REVEALED THEIR BEHAVIOUR IN THE PRESENCE OF LEAKAGES IN THE HEAT PUMP CIRCUIT.
