Which components for refrigerant substitutes?
Quels composants pour les nouveaux fluides ?
Type of article: Article
Summary
Information is given on the components of refrigeration circuits using the substitutes R134a for R12 and R404a for R502, of which the fields of application are detailed. The specific ranges of compressors for these fluids are proposed. Concerning the components, it is pointed out that the substitutes have smaller molecules than CFCs and that the accompanying ester oils are very hygroscopic and have a higher emulsifying action than mineral oils.
