Type of article: Article

Summary

After introducing the state of arts of HCFCs alternatives, the thermodynamic properties, cycling performance and flammability of the typical HCFCs refrigerants R22 and R502 and their traditional substitute refrigerants (R410A, R407C, R404A, R507A), and several kinds of alternative for R22 with low greenhouse effects (R161, R290, RTJU4, R32, R717 and R1234yf) which could be used for air-conditioning, freeze and refrigeration are analyzed and compared.
