Summary

The report presents the findings of retrofit compatibility tests on materials used in motors, for hermetic compressors, whith refrigerants and lubricants. It is divided into three volumes: Volume 1 contains the abstract, introduction, significant results, conclusions, material identification, experimental procedures and data tables. Volume 2 contains the measurements from tests on the three high-pressure refrigerant-lubricant combinations and their alternatives. Volume 3 contains the measurements from tests on the three low-pressure refrigerant-lubricant combinations and their alternatives.
