Summary

THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF THE COLD STORE PLANNED FOR THE TERNOPO L MEAT COMBINE ARE REPORTED ; SOME CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROJECT, MAINLY THE PECULIARITIES OF INITIAL CHILLING AND OF FREEZING, ARE GIVEN. THE RESULTS OF SEMI-INDUSTRIAL TESTS ON THE STORAGE OF MEAT ARE PRESENTED AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE GIVEN FOR THE UPDATING OF EXISTING PLANT.
