THIS REPORT BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY OFTHE USA COVERS THE CURRENT OR PROPOSED FUTURE METHODS BY WHICH THE USE OF OZONE DEPLETING CFCS AND HALONS IN THAT COUNTRY IS BEING REDUCED. ALTERNATIVE FOAMING AGENTS SUCH AS R123 OR R141B MAY BE USED FOR RIGID FOAMS AND A WATER BLOWN PROCESS FOR MOLDED FLEXIBLE FOAM. ATTENTION IS ALSO BEING GIVEN TO RECOVERY AND RE-USE OF R11 IN PRESENT USE. ALTERNATIVE REFRIGERANTS SUCH AS R134A MAY BE A SUBSTITUTE FOR R12.
