Summary
This monograph represents a comprehensive review of literature on irradiation of fish, shellfish and frog legs. It's an update of Dr J.J. Licciardello's early work, originally prepared for ICGFI in 1984 as background material for the ICGFI Code of Food Irradiation Practice for seafood and amended with research from other sources and updated with research that has been performed since its original compilation. It has been re-submitted to ICGFI national contact points to seek its adoption at the 15th Meeting on October 20-22, 1998, in Vienna, Austria (see also next abstract, ref. 2000 - 0557).
