Summary
BLOCK FREEZING OF LIQUIDS AND PASTE LIKE LIQUIDS CREATES A NUM BER OF PROBLEMS WITH REGARD TO PRODUCT QUALITY. FOR MANY PRODUCTS THE HANDLING PRIOR TO FREEZING MAY CREATE MICROBIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS. WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS FROZEN BLOCKS INCLUDES HANDLING PROBLEMS ESPECIALLY WITH REGARD TO THE THAWING AND FURTHER PROCESSING. THE DESCRIBED PELLOFREEZE FREEZING METHOD WILL MINIMIZE THESE PROBLEMS.
