Summary
TWO SURVEYS OF TIME AND TEMPERATURE WERE MADE ON TEN FROZEN PORK PRODUCTS. THE FROZEN STORAGE TIME ON THE ADMISSION IN THE DISPLAY CABINET WAS 2.2 MONTHS OR LESS FOR 50%, 3.3 MONTHS OR LESS FOR 75% AND 6.3 MONTHS OR LESS FOR 95% OF PRODUCTS. THE TIME SPENT IN DISPLAY CABINETS WAS 1.7 WEEKS OR LESS FOR 50%, 4.2 WEEKS FOR 75% AND 10.3 WEEKS OR LESS FOR 95% OF PRODUCTS. THERE WERE LARGE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE SHOPS AND THE PRODUCTS. FOR TWO PRODUCTS WITH A HIGH PRICE, 95% OF PACKAGES SPENT UP TO 25 WEEKS IN THE CABINET.
